Patrols and Reassurance - Autumn Equinox

You might be wondering why you have seen an increase in police patrol cars and officers about in the Birchover, Stanton in Peak and Stanton Lees area over the last few days.

There have been more officers in the area due to increased visitor numbers around the autumn equinox, and the patrols have been carried out to limit anti-social behaviour in the area. Your local policing team has been patrolling in the day and evening over the past few days - thanks to everyone who has been approachable and spoken to us!

A few people in the villages had raised concern about seeing more officers than normal, so we wanted to make clear that there's nothing to be concerned about.
